| In January, 1952, Concordia Lutheran Church was organized to the glory of God. For the past 50 years, we have been honoring Him and giving thanks for His salvation through the sacraments, service, praise and Christian education. Throughout 2002, we will be celebrating His blessings with a year-long program of worship, celebration and service. | Rededication Sunday was January 27. Dr. Lane Seitz, president of the Minnesota South District, was guest preacher, and former pastor Rueben Meissner the liturgist that day assisting Pastor Schmid in ministering to a full house. At this service, Pastor Schmidt and the congregation recommitted themselves to living and spreading the word of God, building on the foundation of faith that has seen the church grow from 37 members to over 800 baptized members. The living charter members of the congregation were recognized by Congregation president David Wright.
