There are many opportunities to serve the Lord for those who wish to do so through the Church organization itself, assisting the Pastor and other staff in many ways.

Lay Readers read Scripture lessons from the lectern in Sunday worship services.  All that is required is a love for the Word and the ability to read comfortably and well in public.

Children's Talk leaders
present brief, entertaining lessons to Sunday School students at the 10:30 services on non-Communion Sundays.  They may develop their own presentations or follow prepared lesson ideas and scripts.

Ushers provide a valuable service to the congregation at our worship services.  Ushers prepare the space for worship, see to lighting, sound system and hymn board, hand out bulletins, assist people with mobility problems and gather the collections.  Ushers are confirmed men and women who are part of a team led by an Usher Captain and serve on a rotating basis.

Greeters meet people at the church and make them feel welcome, and give particular attention to visitors.

Other service opportunities include counting money,  taping services for shut-ins, and serving as substitutes for regular Sunday School teachers, users, etc.
